If you’re new to fasting, you might experience a bit of headaches during your first few fasting windows. This may happen when your body is adjusting to a new way of eating.
While it may be normal to have headaches for the first few days, if they persist we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor to make sure that intermittent fasting is right for you and your body.
You can try increasing your water intake since it helps keep you hydrated and supports your body in natural detox. Add some electrolytes (such as sodium, calcium, potassium, chloride, phosphate and magnesium) to pimp your water. A headache may be a sign of dehydration or low electrolytes in your body.
